Job Summary

Groundsworker II: Operate a variety of machinery and power equipment in order to repair and maintain the grounds of assigned school sites, assist in a variety of grounds construction projects, and perform related duties as assigned. All of the employees in the Operations Department share a responsibility for providing safe, clean, attractive, and functional grounds and facilities for students, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to two years of increasingly responsible grounds maintenance experience and graduation from high school supplemented by additional training in grounds maintenance or a related field.
Must have a valid California driver's license, and either possess or have the ability to obtain a Class A driver license within six months of hire. 
A DMV Driver Record must be submitted with your application, as well as a letter of recommendation, and a resume.
