The Cal Poly Corporation (CPC) Human Resources (HR) team provides comprehensive HR services to approximately 240 full-time benefited, 400 intermittent, and 3000 student employees. The HR team works with multiple departments and divisions across campus including, but not limited to, CPC Business Services, Sponsored Programs, Office of Research & Economic Development, Campus Dining, Conference & Event Planning, Swanton Pacific Ranch,SLO HotHouse, Student Academic Services, College of Science and Math, College of Liberal Arts, Orfalea College of Business, College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences, and College of Engineering & Environmental Design for human resources related matters.
The HR Coordinator is responsible for assisting and coordinating clerical and technical duties on behalf of the Human Resources department’s operations, including benefits processing, retirement processing; worker’s compensation processing and data entry. Will assist in training development and support and generating correspondence and reports. Will assist in implementing training courses and initiatives as described in the Cal Poly Corporation’ strategic plan. Serve as back-up to the HR Managers. Assist HR Director as needed.
