SLO Credit Union is seeking an experienced part time Teller/Member Service Representative(MSR) generally, 4 hour daily but requires flexibility when additional coverage is needed. Salary is between $13.00 - $15.00 per hour depending on experience. An ideal candidate will possess a service oriented and positive attitude and has ability to handle multiple tasks while remaining calm. High School Diploma or GED required.
Answer the telephone, transfer calls, and perform various Customer Service activities necessary to serve customer at the teller window.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process mail and night drop transactions and record the proper information on Credit Union records.
Handle requests from members for transfers of shares for loan payments, cashes checks, share withdrawals, check requests, and any other requests received from members.
Prepares cash report for deposits over governmental maximums.
Opens Savings and Checking Accounts. This process includes compliance with BSA policy for customer identification.
Order checks for customer checking accounts.
Verifies assigned drawer cash from and to vault.
Balances cash in drawer. Maintains drawer cash within the maximum prescribed by Credit Union policy.
Obtains supervisor’s approval to process items larger than approval limits.
Review and issue Certificate of Deposit at member’s request
Process member request for change of address
Process request for and order Visa Debit cards, and for any Visa Debit card fraud reports.
Process charges for inactive accounts return statements.
During slow periods, maintain controls on filing and storage of data.
Others duties as assigned.
