Revenue Manager

Summary: The Revenue Manager, is responsible for identifying and maximizing all potential revenue opportunities for the hotels. Expected to understand channel and yield management in order to ensure that revenues are consistently maximized. The Revenue Manager will work with the General Managers to formulate long- and short-term revenue strategies to ensure their successful execution towards the advancement of Martin Resorts market share.

Optimize RevPAR by analyzing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, and optimal market mix
Support General Managers through the communication of revenue and sales goals
Perform daily analysis of pace, pickup and pricing
Review and recommend all promotional opportunities, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships with various internal departments within the property and corporate
Continuously investigate new profit and growth opportunities.
Participates in the development of the property pricing strategies to ensure corporate increased volume, market share, and hotel revenue, monitoring current booking trends and recommending marketing strategy modifications accordingly.
Responsible for the maintenance of any software programs which contribute to the management of rooms revenue, including the PMS, the booking engine, and the revenue management software
Monitor RevPAR index on STR report and provide critical analysis of performance on weekly and monthly basis.
Oversee process for evaluating all opportunities for contracted business (group, wholesale, corporate negotiated, etc.) presented through the Sales department. Ensure that process enables high speed of response while maximizing profits.
Develop and implement effective reports and analyses to optimize revenue in each market segment and Distribution Channel.
o Develops promotional rate plans and maintains interfaces between all reservations system.
o Manage OTA promotion and distribution to drive hotel results
o Build effective relationships with online travel agencies
o Manages online rate parity
o Experience building packages
o Manage the distribution strategies on all channels to drive market share

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or Hotel Revenue Management program certificate; or minimum of two years Revenue Management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
Previous experience in Hotel Revenue Management (and the quality and services expectations associated) required.
Experience with Duetto, Room Key and TravelClick strongly preferred
