Recruiting & Administrative Assistant - Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the office process flow by assisting with specific office administrative functions.

  • Support our Search Consultants in their marketing & recruiting efforts.

  • Locate, identify, qualify, and reference check potential candidates for our clients’ positions.

  • Utilize creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to locate and communicate with potential candidates.

  • Obtain firm candidate commitments and obtain decisions.

  • Compose marketing ads for the Gilbert Consulting Services website and other niche jobs boards.

  • Utilize our Proprietary Database, LinkedIn and Social Media to send targeted marketing e-mails to potential candidates.

  • Contact potential candidates by phone, market client opportunities and determine if they are qualified and interested in the position(s).

  • Learn and utilize a variety of techniques to obtain timely and quality decisions.

Note: The Recruiting & Administrative Assistant position is a growth role used to develop the necessary skills to advance to the Recruiter position and eventually the Search Consultant position in the future ($$$ six-figure income positions). Extensive initial training program, including daily continuing training, will be provided to the successful candidate(s) to ensure their success.


  • Sales & Marketing knowledge, skills, abilities and mindset.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to build rapport.

  • BS Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business (or related) preferred.

  • Strong work ethic and integrity.

  • Ability and strong desire to learn and grow professional knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Good computer skills (MS-Word, Excel, Internet, LinkedIn, Social Media etc.)

  • Creative problem solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking abilities.

  • Ability to plan and prioritize work, multitask and utilize effective time management.

  • Dependable, reliable and dedicated.


This position includes both a base salary and a performance based bonus structure. You are in complete control of how quickly you advance your compensation! Bonuses are paid for candidates you identify, qualify and submit to our clients’ positions who are subsequently hired for the position(s).
