Description:

We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to work as a Corporate Administrative Assistant at our company headquarters in San Luis Obispo. This is not a remote position. A Corporate Administrative Assistant performs duties to assist in the ongoing operations of the corporate offices including, but not limited to, answering and routing incoming phone calls, assisting and directing on-site visitors, and providing administrative and clerical support to Corporate departments. This is a regular full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly, professionally, and courteously answer the phone, screen, and direct calls.
  • Ensure calls are routed to appropriate departments or Lindamood-Bell locations.
  • Greet persons entering the building and direct them to their correct destination.
  • Maintain the professional appearance of reception and kitchen areas.
  • Provide general administrative support to Corporate departments.
  • Utilize computers and software including, but not limited to, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and database applications.
  • Complete general office tasks and projects including, but not limited to, filing, copying, faxing, running errands, shipping, and managing daily mail as needed.
  • Assist with tracking, researching, and purchasing supplies.
  • Receive and sort incoming mail.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • A current driver`s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
  • Ability to retain and follow oral and written directives and write legibly.
  • General computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening and clearances.
  • Must sign Lindamood-Bell`s Confidentiality Agreement.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $19 per hour.
