Salary is based on experience – Range:  $83K-$119K

Role Overview

As our UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our products' user experience and identity. Your mission is to translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant, and effective digital experiences.

This isn`t a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. At FreshAhead, we are solving ‘‘unsolvable” problems requiring innovative UX approaches beyond conventional best practices. You won`t be designing just another application or dashboard—you`ll create entirely new ways for Ag professionals to visualize, interact with, and perform their work.

What You'll Do

Support End-to-End Design Process

• Design solutions that empower Ag professionals to work more efficiently, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Build new-to-the-world products and extend and advance existing company solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Design and implement intuitive information architecture to structure content, streamline navigation, and optimize user flows to enhance efficiency and usability.
• Conceptualize and create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Establish and maintain a scalable, cohesive design system, ensuring consistent styling, brand alignment, information hierarchy, and interaction patterns.
• Progressively take ownership of and lead design strategy, decision-making, and execution.

Drive User-Centered Design & Research

• Conduct user research and usability testing, including stakeholder interviews, to analyze and discuss customer issues and gather insights that inform design decisions.
• Interpret quantitative data and qualitative feedback to refine user understanding and improve products in line with business objectives.

Innovate & Conceptualize New Ideas

• Proactively bring fresh concepts to the table, challenging industry norms and elevating product offerings.
• Iterate on design patterns that address emerging customer needs.
• Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and emerging industry practices.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

• Work closely with engineering, product management, and customer success teammates to ensure accurate design solution implementation for an exceptional user experience.
• Participate in product development, providing design perspectives and ensuring the feasibility of proposed features.
• Work with engineers on implementation and refining releases into final products.

About You

• 3 to 5 years of professional UI/UX design experience, specifically in a B2B SaaS product environment.
• A portfolio showcasing innovative concepts, problem-solving, and a clear design process that translates user needs into impactful product experiences.
• Strong command of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Familiarity with prototyping, usability testing methods, and basic front-end principles (HTML/CSS) to communicate effectively with engineers.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor`s degree in Design or a related field or equivalent experience.
