Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will provide support to the CEO and will assist the management team as needed. The position will also be responsible for designing, coordinating and executing all internal and external company events, provide notary services as needed, and assist with licensing responsibilities. This role will additionally be responsible for office management duties, including vehicle and equipment management. The position will report to REC Solar`s CEO and will need to work onsite in San Luis Obispo.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including calendar management, expenses, travel arrangements, presentation preparation, etc., for senior management.
  • Assist with administrative needs for management team members as needed.
  • Responsible for office management duties, coordination of cleaning, including vehicle management, equipment management, and tracking of keys and access.
  • Plan and execute a variety of corporate events, including internal events, external events, and coordinating a corporate presence at large scale trade shows, etc.
  • Manage our licensing in multiple states ensuring that they are kept up to date.
  • Provide notary support to employees, primarily senior management in SLO office, as needed.
  • Various tasks such as collecting and distributing mail, filling, and shipping as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor`s Degree required.
  • Seven to ten years prior professional experience in comparable roles.
  • Prior experience with event planning required.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and work efficiently, while using good, independent judgment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills that create results through teamwork.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Commission as a Notary Public required but may consider candidates that are willing to obtain it.
