About the Position

The County of San Luis Obispo Public Works Department is offering a career opportunity for a Division Manager with water supply, flood control, and watershed management technical expertise, and related project development and management experience. The position leads a team that implements the flood management programs for the San Luis Obispo Creek watershed and the leveed portion of Arroyo Grande Creek; develops regional water supply resiliency strategies and projects; collects water resources data county-wide; and implements related grant and public outreach programs. The Division`s overall mission is to understand flooding and water supply conditions county-wide; set sustainability and resiliency goals; identify feasible, integrated solutions to meet those goals; and facilitate the initial implementation of those solutions.
