Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management and warehouse functions.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Pay Range: $23-$25hr.
What's the Job?
- Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant
- Complete SAP warehouse management system transactions with accuracy
- Perform 6S responsibilities including sorting, setting in order, shining, sustaining, and safety
- Physically put away products into designated locations and update SAP records
- Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and other delegated tasks.
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous warehousing experience preferred
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs daily
- Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Competitive hourly pay range of $23-25, dependent on skills and experience
