Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management and warehouse functions.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Pay Range: $23-$25hr.

What's the Job?

• Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant
• Complete SAP warehouse management system transactions with accuracy
• Perform 6S responsibilities including sorting, setting in order, shining, sustaining, and safety
• Physically put away products into designated locations and update SAP records
• Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and other delegated tasks.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Previous warehousing experience preferred
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs daily
• Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
