Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Pay Range: $24-$25/hr
Shift: 3pm- 1130 pm Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
- Perform routine inspections on manufactured products against documented specifications and quality control procedures.
- Identify and document nonconformances, using measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure calibration of measurement equipment is current.
- Notify supervisors of discrepancies and support safe, efficient production processes.
- Support site quality initiatives and perform basic First Article Inspection Reports as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing inspection environment or equivalent training.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.
