This position serves as a member of the Facilities Help Center team and is responsible for answering multiple phone lines, responding as the FMD Reception area, and acting as the main campus Lost & Found. The CSC meets with customers to hear concerns, offer trainings, and actively assist with informing, educating, and determining next steps. The Help Center team handles a variety of administrative tasks and ensures excellent internal and external customer service.Department SummaryFacilities Management and Development (FMD) is part of the Administration and Finance Division and is responsible for planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and repair of university facilities and infrastructure. FMD supports sustainability and inclusive culture with four support departments.Key QualificationsServe as the primary point of contact for campus service requests and concerns, sharing expectations, gathering information, scheduling work, and routing maintenance and non-maintenance requests via emails and IWMS.Assist with the Lost & Found system, log claims, maintain storeroom, and perform quarterly purges.Create, maintain, and update digital and physical building reference materials, including flyers, presentations, website, SharePoint, training manuals, and spreadsheets.Establish and maintain relationships with Facilities personnel and business partners, act as the primary communication bridge, and produce official FMD email notifications.Manage the work order process within IWMS, enter labor and materials data, review SFM reports, prioritize work orders, and train new FMD employees on the system.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent. 45 WPM typing speed. Four years of general office support or technical experience.
