Job OverviewAt Zone 5 Technologies, we are redefining what's possible in unmanned aircraft systems by building cutting‑edge autonomous solutions. We are looking for a CNC Operator I to support aerospace production by safely operating CNC machines, executing programs, inspecting work and ensuring adherence to standard work in a controlled production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload parts, fixtures, and materials into CNC machines.Run approved CNC programs without modification.Perform basic in‑process inspections using hand tools (calipers, gauges).Monitor machine operation and cycle times.Identify and report machine faults, tool wear, or quality concerns.Maintain clean, FOD‑free work areas.Follow all safety, PPE, ESD, and quality requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.0–1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience.Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Typical Tools & EquipmentCNC mills and/or lathes.Hand measuring tools (calipers, rulers, go/no‑go gauges).Basic shop equipment and fixtures.CompensationTech I – $20.00 – $23.00 (+10% shift differential).BenefitsComprehensive benefit package options including medical, dental, vision, life and more.401k with company match.4 weeks of paid time off each year.12 annual company holidays.Equal Employment OpportunityIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.Zone 5 Technologies is a federal contractor and participates in E‑Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
