Job Summary

San Luis Coastal Unified School District is looking for a full-time, year round Administrative Assistant to join our Instructional Services Department in San Luis Obispo. The eligibility list created from this recruitment will also be used to fill any vacancies that occur throughout the District for a six-month period.

Administrative Assistants at SLCUSD perform highly responsible and complex assistant duties, and routine administrative duties, in support of a District department head and department staff, provide general information and assistance to the public and staff, and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Copy of Transcript (Equivalent to 2 years of college courses. Can be excluded only if years of experience meet or exceed minimum qualification requirements. See job description.)

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (At least 1 signed letter from a professional reference (preferably drafted within the past two years, and on letterhead))
  • Resume (Include dates worked in each position)


Comments and Other Information

Fingerprint and TB clearance will be required prior to starting work.

A "veteran" as used here means any person who served in the United States armed forces or National Guard in time of war or national emergency. 4) Eligibility lists are established for a period of six months.
