The following duties are typical of this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the duties set forth below and/or may be required to perform additional related duties to address City needs and evolving business practices. Opens, closes, and secures recreation facilities in accordance with scheduled programs, rentals, and user group needs. Monitors facility use, afterschool programs, and Teen Center activities to ensure participant safety, appropriate behavior, and compliance with established rules and policies; addresses minor issues or conflicts as they arise. Provides customer service by greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and providing accurate information regarding programs, services, and facility use. Supports recreation programs and activities by assisting with implementation and providing basic supervision of participants.
