The San Luis Obispo Sheriffs Office is seeking a current employee to join their team as a Program Coordinator working as part of a Compliance Unit to ensure compliance with varying and numerous statutes governing corrections, correctional health care, and re-entry services. The Program Coordinator would work in tandem and cross-train with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator and Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) manager, reporting to the Sheriffs Chief Medical Officer and in-turn directly to the Sheriff to ensure direct communication in resolving any potential issues. The position will work closely with Custody leadership in developing practices and would be assigned within the county jail.
