MedTech companies use PLM software to capture, control, and manage frequent changes to their product designs. Your work helps get medical devices to patients faster and more safely. This is a greenfield opportunity to build the quality engineering process from the ground up. Product quality is extremely important at Veeva. You will own both the quality strategy and execution for a high stakes product with a responsibility of shipping high-quality features without regressions.What You'll Do Define automation strategiesDesign and develop new automation frameworks using modern technologiesMonitor, analyze, and report test automation resultsContribute to automation infrastructure improvementsCollaborate with Developers, QA, and PMs to identify automation test cases that will ensure product qualityRequirements 7+ years of experience in software test automation or software developmentStrong coding skills in TypeScript, Python, or JavaDeep proficiency with API and UI automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, or PostmanThorough understanding of modern best practices for software development like design patterns, code reusability, extensibility, and maintainabilityExperience with tools that can generate large and realistic test dataAbility to navigate and understand complex product requirementsExperience and ability in developing test automation frameworks from scratchExpertise using tools like Git and Maven/GradleFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or JenkinsStrong written and verbal English skills to support complex analysisBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalentApplicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States.
