The Role:Entegris is currently seeking a Weld Examiner to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to completed weld components used in our Ultra High Purity Systems. The primary objective of the Weld Examiner is to ensure all welds have been 100% visually inspected to the standard code of ASME B 31.3 unless specified differently in the customer data sheet. Welds and the Exam Reports will be reviewed by the weld examiner under a pass or fail criteria. What Youll Do:Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube configurations with supervision. Use SAP to print drawings and parts lists. Use Ultra High Purity (UHP) process. Inspects welded tubing and components from 1/8th to 6diameter using proper tools and equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
