Of the Ideal Candidate: Represent the restaurant with authenticity, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Warmly and graciously greet all guest upon arrival and exit, offering them assistance or direction. Record guest names and number of people in a party when seating is limited, providing an accurate estimated waiting time and availability. When tables have been prepared, efficiently locate guest and party to be led to the correct seating area. Take note of any special seating requests or guests preferences with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Communicate clearly and professionally to servers and bus people on guest needs, using outstanding teamwork skills. Upon seating, offer guests a menu, inform them of their server's name, and inspect table for proper presentation and completeness. Complete end of shift duties.
