The Photography program at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria is seeking applications to build a qualified part-time faculty pool for potential vacancies. Positions are available as needed for the upcoming academic year. Responsibilities and duties may include teaching one or more subjects in the Photography program, including History of Photography, Basic Photography, Materials and Processes, Color Photography, Commercial Photography, Portrait Photography, Digital Photography, and Drone Photography. Successful candidates will be able to provide evidence of sensitivity to, understanding of, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND to effectively provide instruction to community college students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

SALARY:
Lecture Rate: $56.46 to $86.44 per hour, depending upon education and experience
Lab Rate: $49.17 to $75.26 per hour, depending upon education and experience
Activity Rate: $36.33 to $56.69 per hour, depending upon education and experience
