School Aide - Santa Maria, CA

Pay: $18/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week Location: Santa Maria, California

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide to support students and staff in a positive, inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to teachers, including instructional assistance and supervision

• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and behavior support

• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and during meal times

• Support students with personal care needs as required

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment

• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families

• Follow school policies, safety procedures, and staff direction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to remain patient, calm, and supportive in a school environment

• Must pass background check and meet district employment requirements

• Monday-Friday

• 32.5 hours per week

• $18 per hour
