Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Inventory Control Coordinator to join their team. As a Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Pay Range: $23-$25/hr
Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm Wednesday - Sunday
What's the Job?
Assist with scheduling and coordinating work, delegating tasks, and resolving issues.
Oversee verification of work orders, part numbers, batch numbers, and packaging specifications.
Lead and ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation such as Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, and SAP transactions.
Partner cross-functionally to process deviations and quality notifications according to established processes.
Support inventory control through weekly cycle counts, delegated tasks, and process improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehousing experience required.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Possess a valid driver's license to drive company truck (no CDL required).
SAP familiarity is a plus.
