We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Architect to lead the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures. This role is critical in strengthening organizational security posture, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of security awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Review and implement information security policies across the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policies are practical, enforceable, and aligned with business needs.
Maintain a centralized policy repository and ensure timely updates.
Translate high-level policies into actionable procedures and guidelines for both technical and non-technical teams.
Develop clear documentation to support training, audits, and operational consistency.
Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support internal and external audits with required documentation and evidence.
Assist in developing and delivering security awareness programs and training materials.
Provide guidance and support on policy interpretation and implementation.
Stay updated on emerging threats, security technologies, and best practices.
Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures based on evolving risks and organizational feedback.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR
Associate's degree in IT or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in information security, policy development, or compliance.
3+ years working with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Strong skills in compliance, risk management, and security documentation.
Preferred:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear, business-friendly guidance.
