Barista

As a Barista/Cashier, you play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service. Your responsibilities include ensuring courteous and efficient service to guests, serving meals and beverages with precision and professionalism. You serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing attentive service and addressing any inquiries or special requests they may have. Your role is integral to the overall guest experience, as you contribute to creating memorable moments and ensuring guest satisfaction. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset are essential for success in this role.

Work Hours

• Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
• Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all guest service to welcome and greet guests
• Serve coffee drinks to guests.
• Serve various items like pastries and juices, including seasonal specials to guests
• Ensure the Marketplace is clean, organized, and inviting.
• Be able to answer guests' questions about the resort and/or surrounding area in a polite and warm manner.
• Assist in serving food and beverage to guests in a friendly, attentive manner, if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assist guests with purchases in the Marketplace, including product recommendations and completing transactions through the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain the Marketplace by restocking, organizing displays, and ensuring the space remains clean and presentable.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs or discrepancies to management.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation of retail sales in accordance with hotel financial procedures.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
• Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour plus tips
