Schedule
Shift: 1900-0730 (Evening/Nights). Usual start time will be 10pm.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Sterile Processing Technician certification: Preferred
- 1-2 years of experience
- Trauma experience needed, along with experience with robotic instruments and general instrumentation

Roles & Responsibilities
- Decontaminates and processes instruments including compiling instrument sets and counting instruments.
- Sterilizes instruments, trays, basins, etc. following appropriate exposure/dry times.
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment in the department.
- Assists Operating Room Housekeeping with room turnover, terminal cleaning, and daily duties as necessary.
- Performs diagnostic testing on sterilizing equipment and evaluates instruments for function and safety during reprocessing.
- Provides technical services and assists in the operating room and related departments as assigned.
