Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPD) for a busy OR department. Candidate must be comfortable working independently overnight and have strong trauma and robotic instrumentation experience.
Requirements
? HSPA (IAHCSMM) Certification or CBSPD Certification
? 1–2 years recent sterile processing experience
? Trauma instrumentation experience required
? Robotic instrumentation experience required
? General surgical instrumentation experience required
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments
- Process robotic and trauma instrument sets
- Ensure proper sterilization standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking
- Respond to OR needs during overnight shifts
- Participate in weekend call rotation
