As a Wendy's Food Service Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will set the tone for customer satisfaction and ensure the great Wendy's taste shines through.

In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager (GM) to manage shifts effectively and complete essential administrative tasks. In the absence of the GM, you will provide necessary leadership to ensure the restaurant consistently meets Wendy's high standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the management of all restaurant operations.
  • Fostering excellent customer service while maintaining company standards.
  • Helping to recruit, train, and develop outstanding Crew Members and Shift Supervisors.
  • Supervising a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Creating weekly schedules, ordering supplies, and aiding the GM with training, promotions, and strategic planning.
  • Managing the restaurant's budget and financial objectives.
  • Building and maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere among employees and customers.
  • Ensuring food safety, quality, and sanitation, including receiving shipments and storing ingredients and supplies properly.
  • Conducting regular health, safety, and security audits, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintaining facility and equipment to Wendy's standards.
  • Following correct opening and closing procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Possession of a food handler's certificate as required by state or local regulations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Professional appearance and good hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility in work hours and punctuality.
  • A minimum of one year in a supervisory role.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift between 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, and stand or walk for extended periods.
