As a Part-Time Cashier and Stock Associate, you will operate registers, stock shelves, and maintain a clean and inviting store environment. Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $21.60 | Year 5 - $22.10

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate vital information to your supervisor.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of documents and data in your area.
• Assist with various other duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases with efficiency, perform cleaning duties, and ensure shelves and merchandise displays are well-stocked and organized.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, helping shoppers enjoy their experience.
• Provide feedback to management regarding inventory, scanning errors, and product availability.
• Participate in inventory counts and keep inventory accurate.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Stock Associate Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure customers have access to fresh items.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to create attractive product displays.
• Organize new inventory and handle packaging waste responsibly.
• Operate store machinery safely and follow all established safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.
• Stock associates must be able to stock items from receiving to shelving and lift products weighing up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Knowledge of company products and services is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills and effective time management.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and follow local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Morning availability needed for stocking duties with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous relevant work experience is valued.
