Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated paralegal with a strong background in personal injury or family law or employment law to join the legal team. This role is 100% Remote in California.


Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal/ Employment Law Paralegal

Location: Remote (California)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in managing personal injury/ employment law cases from inception to resolution.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Perform legal research to support case strategies, including identifying relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • File legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and local rules.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Experience as a paralegal, with significant personal injury/ employment law experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
