A globally leading consumer device company based in Santa Clara, CA is looking for a Chemical Technician to join their team. You will support wafer fabrication operations by maintaining chemical systems during the swing shift hours (2pm -10:30 pm). This role ensures proper chemical levels, safe handling of hazardous materials, accurate inventory tracking, and seamless communication between shifts to maintain continuous laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical top-offs, repours, and tank draining to maintain proper chemical levels

• Track and respond to daily, weekly, and on-demand requests

• Accurately document activities using designated software systems

• Manage chemical inventory, including storage, handling, and disposal

• Ensure compliance with hazardous materials and safety procedures

• Communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure continuity of laboratory services

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling chemicals in a wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing environment

• Strong familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts

• Proficient with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or similar tools)

• Ability to lift at least 15 lbs

• Comfortable working with hazardous materials while following strict safety protocols

• Associate's degree

Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months with extension

Work Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% On site)

Pay Rate: $ 37.00 - $ 52.00 (DOE)
