Job Title: Plaintiff Employment Attorney

Location: California (Remote)

Our client is a high-performing employment law firm in California, and they are looking for an experiencedplaintiff-side employment attorney to join our growing team.


Responsibilities

  • Handle plaintiff-side employment law matters from intake through resolution.
  • Assist in building and developing an intake team and process.
  • Develop a prelitigation strategy with the managing partner
  • Handle cases involving wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, retaliation, and discrimination
  • Develop, lead, and conduct litigation strategy, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop systems, workflows, and department structure



Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in plaintiff-side employment litigation
  • Deep knowledge of California labor laws and employment litigation procedures
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a full caseload
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in launching and growing a new department
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills



Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
