Full-Time | Non-Exempt/Hourly | Reports to: Center Director | Work Location: Onsite
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing Pacific Wildlife Care's volunteer program in support of wildlife rehabilitation, administrative operations, education, outreach, and fundraising. This role oversees volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, engagement, and compliance to ensure volunteers are well prepared, supported, and aligned with organizational priorities.
This position requires a consistent onsite presence, hands-on supervision, and close collaboration with staff and leadership. The role is expected to focus primarily (approximately 80%) on onsite volunteer training, supervision, and management, with the remaining approximately 20% dedicated to volunteer recruitment, administration, and reporting, based on organizational needs.
This position provides supervision and guidance to volunteers and does not include direct supervision of paid staff.
