As a Material Handler at our Santa Maria, CA facility./ppAs a Material Handler, youll be responsible for operating a forklift, reach truck, and stock picker to move bulk products and individual cases into staging and/or forward pick locations. In this position youll use RF devices to complete inventory movements. You will also assist in loading and unloading products to and from trucks in a manner that meets our standards for safety, security and productivity./ppWhat youll be doing:/pulliSafe and proficient operation of material handling equipment such as stand-up forklift, order picker, reach./liliUtilizing pick sheets, work orders, and/or RF devices as necessary to pull inventory./liliInspecting products as they are pulled to ensure quality and accuracy./liliReporting and documenting any damaged product not suitable for shipping./liliStaging products for our club assembly line./liliLoading and unloading trucks in our shipping and receiving departments./liliNotifying supervisors of any mechanical or material issues./liliUtilizing safety equipment and observing all safety rules and practices./liliMaintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpWho you are:/ppCandidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer./pulliAt least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or distribution center./liliExperience with RF devices/liliExperience working in a fast-paced production driven environment./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliAttention to detail./liliAbility to work a flexible schedule./liliAbility to lift heavy objects, 40+ pounds./liliWine industry experience is a plus./liliAble to work weekends and overtime as needed./liliReliable transportation./liliMust be able to work overtime as needed./li/ulpWhy WineDirect:/pulliYou will have the ability to transform the wine industry by facilitating winerys ability to sell their products globally/liliYoull get to work with and support a stellar group of people who work together to care for our clients and their customers/liliYoull be empowered to make decisions, both to get the job done and to further your career/liliWe have a competitive compensation package including medical, dental and vision coverage as well as Life, Long Term Disability and ADD at no cost to the employee and a 401(k) plan./li/ulpWineDirect is an Equal Opportunity Employer./p/div
