This role is crucial in driving improvements within the Shipbuilding industry through the deployment of innovative technologies. You will collaborate in a dynamic team environment, enhancing operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of processes in shipyards worldwide. Your efforts will directly influence project outcomes and foster growth opportunities, making a significant impact in the market.
Accountabilities
- Assist with onsite data collection and Shipyard AI implementation efforts
- Maintain relationships with key shipyard personnel
- Support the development of requirements documentation and related specifications
- Assist in the design and deployment of solutions for proposals and follow-on work
- Attain knowledge of services and software portfolio to assist in growth opportunities
- Support sales demos and customer presentations
- Provide feedback for product development
- Troubleshoot customer issues as needed
- Provide customer training on deployments
- Travel may be required to support deployments
- Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering or a similar field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in shipbuilding with a focus on capacity planning and scheduling
- Passionate about providing high-quality solutions to real business opportunities
- Experience with project planning or engineering in a shipbuilding or manufacturing environment
