We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a National Title Clearance Officer opportunity with a national settlement company. This role is responsible for managing a high volume of residential real estate files across multiple states.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, sales teams, attorneys, and underwriters. National and New York title experience is required. This position is 100% remote.
Your specific duties will include:
- Review, analyze, and clear title for residential purchase and refinance transactions
- Examine abstracts, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to identify title insurance and legal issues related to commitments and reports
- Work closely with title agencies, clients, and attorneys to resolve title exceptions and prepare files for closing
- Prepare and/or review Owner and Loan Title Policies, ensuring appropriate exceptions are included
- Review and interpret title bills and invoices
- Handle surveys, survey readings, real estate taxes, recordings, and escrow matters
- Manage both New York-specific and nationwide residential transactions
Specific qualifications for the position include: - 5+ years of Title Curative/Title Clearance experience (required).
- Proven experience clearing residential title files on a national basis (required).
- Strong experience clearing title in New York (required).
- Experience with SoftPro Select (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Pay Rate Range: $60,000 - $70,000 for salaried positions
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
