Position Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Project Manager to join our Industrial Wastewater Operations & Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and compliant operation of industrial wastewater treatment systems while ensuring financial success across multiple projects. This role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of wastewater operations, a commitment to safety, and strong project management skills. You will also oversee the work of 6 Field Operators/Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, company, and quality standards in wastewater operations.
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols and prepare Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) as required.
• Client & Team Interaction:
  • Engage with client organizations, including engineering departments and site managers, to foster effective communication.
  • Travel to client sites up to 50% of the time and utilize computer-based maintenance programs for reporting.
  • Compile and present field data in comprehensive client-facing reports.
• Project Management & Financial Oversight:
  • Manage multiple O&M projects with full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility, including monthly reporting and invoice processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and assist in estimating project materials and labor.
• Operations & Maintenance:
  • Lead, train, and coordinate the work of O&M staff, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, emergency response efforts, and the operation of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, and process chemical adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial wastewater operations or a related field.
• Valid wastewater license and strong technical knowledge in wastewater treatment processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage projects effectively.
• Self-motivated, dependable team player with a commitment to upholding safety and compliance standards.
