Job Purpose

Responsible for driving growth objectives, including strategic relationship building, regional territory management, and performance measurement in alignment with the annual business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strategic industry relationships with owners, management companies, consultants, lenders, and key deal influencers, to strengthen brand presence and growth opportunities.
  • Deliver and manage business results by generating leads and executing deals in accordance with established goals and in compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Represent development initiatives for WorldHotels North America, and present applications and deal elements for approval as required.
  • Partner and collaborate with North American Development staff, as needed.
  • Manage financial objectives, to include annual budget, to ensure alignment with business goals.
Preferred Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 10 years of sales-related experience, including management level assignments across the lodging or related industry.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong understanding of hospitality development in the Upscale and Luxury segment, including feasibility studies, market analysis, financial projections, and project evaluation.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and construction documentation; familiarity with industry standards and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and client database management.
  • Advanced relationship management and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and conceptual reasoning.
  • Capacity for strategic thinking and innovation to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with senior-level contacts.
Location & Travel
  • This position is based in Arizona.
  • May travel up to 75% of work time.
  • Valid driver's license, serviceable automobile and proof of insurance may be required.
