Our client, a global leader in the IT industry is seeking to hire a Sales Support Advisor. This is a 100% remote role that will work 8am-5pm M-F and pays $28-$31+/hourdepending on relevant experience. This starts as a 6-month contract and offers both extensions and full-time opportunities for top performers. We are seeking a candidate who has prior experience creating and maintaining statements of work (SOWs) and supporting a sales team. The Sales Support Advisor provides a strategic partnership with assigned Services management by operating their daily services business with precision and urgency. The incumbent in this role has a high degree of resourcefulness, is an excellent communicator, thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and is process driven but flexible in approach. Previous project coordination and experience creating/maintaining Statements of Work (SOWs) and resource allocation strongly preferred.

Job Summary

The Sales Support Advisor serves as a strategic partner to assigned Services Managers, ensuring operational precision and responsiveness across the full lifecycle of service engagements. This role bridges Services, Sales, and Company clients to support delivery excellence. The advisor thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills, and balances process discipline with flexibility.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Act as a liaison between Services, Sales, and Company clients to support service delivery.
  • Hold signature and execution authority for SOWs within contract thresholds.
  • Manage full lifecycle operational engagement and project management activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate revenue and cost recognition.
  • Initiate resource fulfillment requests.
  • Resolve escalated customer service issues strategically.
  • Provide actionable intelligence and data insights to Services Managers.
  • Develop trusted partnerships with assigned Services Managers.
  • Approve time/expense entries and invoicing in systems.
  • Initiate and approve financial documents (invoices, credit memos, etc.).
  • Participate in tool and process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate Services engagement methodology and best practices.
  • Support Services Management vision, goals, and strategies.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience years of experience helping create, update, and track Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • 1-3+ years of experience with Project Coordination helping support the delivery of IT Services.
  • 1+ years of experience with Resource Allocation.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of relevant experience in services operations, project coordination, or customer engagement OR 5 years of relevant or related experience in services operations, project coordination, or customer engagement.
  • Proven ability to provide forward-thinking leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in tailoring communication to varied audiences and influencing outcomes.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights for Services leadership.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Professional Services Automation tools (preferred not required).
  • Experience implementing process improvement projects (preferred not required).
  • Experience with Power BI and Excel dashboard creation (preferred not required).
