Asa Travel Consultant, youll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. Most of our Traveler Care leadership started in this role, and you can find us in almost every other department at Amex GBT./ppAs a Travel Consultant, youll:/pulliAdvise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)/liliConduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services/liliArrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations/liliUse Global Distribution Systems - Sabre/liliEnsure compliance to customers agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements/liliUse positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests/liliCollaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels/li/ulpWe look forward to sharing more detailed job functions and key performance indicators during the interview process./ppWhat were looking for:/pulliPassion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs/liliNative GDS expertise - Sabre/liliProfessional communication (written and verbal)/liliAttention to detail/liliAct with integrity, and look after personal traveler information/liliPossess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)/liliResolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier/liliTeamwork and openness to feedback/li/ulpPlease be flexible and prepared to work a shift any time between 8AM to 8-10PM EST time Monday to Friday./ppLocation: United States/ppThe US national base salary range for this position is from $39,200.00 - $72,800.00. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidates relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
