Job Title

Project Engineer

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Create and manage design submittals, RFI's and change orders
• Work with the Quality Control manager to create, review and edit required quality control documents
• Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure required design & installation information is provided correctly and on-time
• Review subcontractor & engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager
• Coordinate purchase of necessary supplies, equipment and services from appropriate sources and maintain proper inventory control, maintenance and consumable supplies
• Review and approve design submittals to ensure compliance

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management or business management
• 3+ years working experience in HVAC or building controls
• Knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel; thorough understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and operations and the ability to meet demanding customer requirements
• Strong verbal and listening communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette as well as a professional friendly demeanor
• Proven ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with extreme accuracy and adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to anticipate needs and solve job-related problems independently and act with appropriate urgency
• Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
• Must possess valid driver's license and meet MVR requirements to operate company vehicle

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
