Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

Salary Range: $150,000-$190,000 base.

Company Description

We're representing a fast-growing technology company revolutionizing how fresh, organic, and sustainable food moves from farms to businesses and consumers. The company recently raised $90 million in growth funding to fuel expansion across the U.S. and prepare for its upcoming IPO.

With operations spanning both B2B and B2C markets, the company connects farmers, distributors, and consumers through a unified e-commerce and logistics platform. Their mission is to build a more transparent, efficient, and technology-driven food supply chain — empowering local producers and improving access to quality food nationwide.

This is a unique opportunity to join a profitable, late-stage startup making a real impact at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and food systems.

What You Will Do

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and scaling the company's e-commerce and logistics systems. You'll build reliable, production-grade software that serves both customer-facing applications and internal business tools, helping drive operational excellence across the platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scalable, production-grade systems supporting both user-facing and internal applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and data teams to deliver new features and optimize system performance.
  • Track and analyze production data, logs, and bugs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of multiple aspects of the development process, including QA, DevOps, and analytics when needed.
  • Learn and adapt to new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies as the platform evolves.

Ideal Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
  • 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one web front-end or back-end framework, such as J2EE, Node.js, Angular, or React.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end libraries such as Bootstrap and jQuery.
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working on e-commerce or logistics systems.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Interest in sustainable food systems or ag-tech innovation.

Why Join

  • Impact: Build core systems powering a platform that connects farmers, businesses, and consumers across the country.
  • Growth: Join a company preparing for IPO with strong profitability and national expansion.
  • Learning: Gain experience across multiple areas — full-stack development, DevOps, QA, and data systems.
  • Mission: Contribute to a company improving how food is grown, distributed, and enjoyed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and equity
  • 401k and Life Insurance
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and sustainability in a rapidly growing industry

This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven technology company modernizing the food supply chain — where your work directly improves access to healthy, sustainable food nationwide.
