Job Title

Coordinates and assembles work and resource plans that align with the budget plan. Monitors weekly and annual execution of the work plan by the Transmission and Distribution execution organizations. Understands the effectiveness of, and recommend improvements in business process, practice and procedures as they relate to the identification of known work and work management data quality in the various work management systems. May work closely with the GO Business Finance team to monitor and reallocate budget between programs and maintain and overall view of budget performance. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location is flexible within the Central Coast, South Bay and Los Padres Regions.

The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $118,000 Bay Area Maximum: $188,000 OR California Minimum: $112,000 California Maximum: $179,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Anticipates issues and develops innovative solutions to enhance controls and mitigate risks.
  • Leads peers and stakeholders to develop a prioritized and optimized long range and annual work plan portfolio.
  • Leads, tracks and reports on work progression.
  • Supports assigned region to achieve portfolio efficiencies, and initiates partnerships to develop integrated work plans and communications.
  • Ensures effective work & resource planning and scheduling for the service territory, and ensures resources align with budget.
  • Assists in the development of contingency plans for the portfolio of work in the annual and long-term plans.
  • Presents findings and makes recommendations to management or others within organization.
  • Manages major cross-functional projects and initiatives. Organizes and leads cross-functional project teams to influence utility, regulatory and/or industry decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business administration or comparable quantitative field or equivalent related work experience. 7 years of relevant work experience with steady progression of responsibilities.
  • Desired: Utility industry experience, or related.
