We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who thrives on meaningful work, values collaboration, and wants to make a lasting impact on communities throughout California. We are looking for individuals with 4+ years of experience in labor & employment with a passion for public entity representation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination.
  • Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.
  • Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on complex, high-impact cases.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school districts.
  • Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.

Salary

$120,000 - $225,000/year
