We're Hiring: Medical Purchasing Coordinator!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Purchasing Coordinator to manage the procurement of medical supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, an understanding of healthcare regulations, and the ability to streamline purchasing processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Role: Medical Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Marina del Rey, CA

Pay Rate: $38.80/hour

Duration: 13 weeks

Expected Shift: 8am-4:30pm, 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains purchase orders, utilizing Oracle Cloud ERP
• Works closely with requesting departments, providing information and assistance in purchasing related matters.
• Continually seeks to understand and support customer needs, concerns, and priorities. Meets or exceed customer expectations and requirements.
• Identifies available sources of supply, including alternate products, in the event of back orders.
• Checks Requisition accuracy and completeness prior to creating Pos
• Checks order status or confirmation before close of business each day to assure timely delivery and performance standards are met.
• Contacts departments via approved process in the event of a critical product on back order
• Resolve price discrepancies
  
  

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in Hospital Procurement.
