The Assistant Manager, Asset Protection, supports the Asset Protection Manager, My Macys initiatives, Omnichannel strategies, and the We Care Service Model through actively managing a team of direct reports. They identify shortage results and causes, developing programs and procedures to reduce shortage. Other duties are performed as assigned. What You Will Do Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop a team of Asset Protection direct reports, providing necessary feedback and coaching; conduct quarterly and annual performance check-ins, making talent development and promotion decisions; address colleague concerns; collaborate with HR on performance and conduct issues. Assist the Asset Protection Manager in supervising indirect reports. Protect and monitor company assets, alarms, property, colleagues, and visitors by enforcing company and Asset Protection policies.
