This is an 11 month/100% FTE position. This position will rotate yearly between the preschool and toddler classrooms at the North County Children's Center. Please make sure all your ECE/ CD/ CDFS classes are represented on your unofficial transcripts. DEFINITION - Under the general supervision of the Instructional Assistant (Lead Classroom Teacher), and Childrens Center Director, support, all activities related to the childrens classroom environment at the Cuesta College Early Childhood Education program. This includes supervising and guiding toddler or preschool children in developmentally appropriate social, emotional, physical, language, creative and cognitive activities. Assistant teachers should be able to communicate effectively with children, staff, students, faculty and parents.
