About the Role. The Department of Airports is seeking a strategic and solutions-oriented professional to serve as the Airport Business & Administration Manager (Administrative Manager). Please Note This is a new classification for the County. Classification, salary range, and funding for this position is subject to approval by the County of San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors. Anticipated Board approval date is November 4, 2025. Reporting to the Deputy Director of External Affairs and Administration, this position provides senior-level leadership over the Airports fiscal, administrative, and business functions ensuring sound financial management, organizational efficiency, and long-term sustainability for San Luis Obispo Countys airport system. The Airport Business & Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing strategic budgeting, capital funding strategies, procurement policy, and cross-departmental coordination.
