Construction Coordinator

We are seeking dedicated Construction Coordinators to join our team at a large utility company on the West Coast. As a Construction Coordinator, you will play a vital role in administering and managing construction packages while working closely with Construction Managers and Field Engineers. This position requires strong attention to detail, data management skills, and construction knowledge to support our critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer construction packages for 50-150 projects weekly.
• Enter and maintain accurate project data in Excel and SAP systems.
• Process and track Request for Information (RFIs) related to system hardening, pole maintenance, and undergrounding projects.
• Submit and draft work authorizations for vendors.
• Support financial controls within projects, ensuring forecast and billing accuracy.
• Review contractor quotes and validate additional expenses.
• Monitor equipment orders and track project updates from the field.
• Support Construction Managers with administrative tasks and documentation.
• Assist with AFW submissions to ensure jobs are performed safely.
• Maintain organized project documentation and records.

Required Qualifications

• 1-5 years of clerical, administrative, or analytical support experience.
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Understanding of construction management lifecycle and project workflows.
• Experience with data entry, scheduling, and vendor management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Willingness to hit the ground running and be a go-getter.
