Job Details

To oversee, plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, coordinate, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for performing a wide variety of parks, landscaping, urban forest, facility, street, sidewalk and storm system maintenance activities within the Streets, Landscaping, and Building Maintenance Divisions of the Public Works Department; to perform the more complex tasks of the work unit; and to perform a variety of duties relative to assigned area of responsibility. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED - Receives general direction from the Director of Public Works within a framework of legal requirements, policies and established organizational values and processes with independence of action to meet changing operational conditions.
